Mole Removal : Moles or Neavi are the small, dark brown to black, painless growths caused due to a collection of pigment forming cells (melanocytes) in the top layers of the skin. While most are harmless, one may choose to remove them either for cosmetic reasons or to rule out cancerous transformation in them. Smaller moles are removed by either “shave-excision” or electrocautery, larger ones need surgical excision. Depending on the size of the removal area, you may need sutures.

Ear Lobe Repair : Elongated ear lobe or a split ear lobe can be caused due to heavy earrings worn over long periods of time, sudden pulling on earrings, etc. This makes it difficult to wear earrings as well as looks cosmetically unsightly. The repair procedure is done under local anaesthesia wherein the defect is surgically corrected and sutured. Most patients return to work the next day, often the same day.

Nail Surgery : Surgical nail removal can be done for severe recurrent fungal infections, nail deformities and most commonly for ingrowing toenails. Surgery on the entire nail plate (total nail avulsion) or only a part of the nail plate (partial nail avulsion) is performed depending on the individual case. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia and one can walk straight after the surgery.

Radio Frequency / Cautery For Warts & Skin Tags Removal : Skin tags are small dark growths that appear commonly on the body folds like eyelids, neck, arm pits, thighs, etc. These could be due to genetic factors or due to friction or overweight. While they are harmless, if their appearance bothers you, they can be easily removed in a pain free setting.
Radio Frequency cautery procedure involves the use of high frequency radio waves which are passed through soft skin tissues in order to cut, coagulate or remove the tissue. This procedure is most used for removal of warts, skin tags, moles and unwanted grey hair, etc.
