Botox : Botox is a tradename for the popular wrinkle reducing injections. It is a protein that blocks certain chemical signals from nerves thereby causing the injected muscles to relax. It is most commonly used to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. It can also be used to control excessive sweating in the underarms and on palms, to slim the face and achieve a well-defined jaw line.
Filler : As we age our skin loses its natural elasticity, hydration and fat, that leads to deep folds, wrinkles and sagging. A filler treatment involves injection of synthetic hyaluronic acid which closely mimics its natural counterpart in the skin. Fillers are used to provide a natural looking lift to sagging skin, fill under eye hollows, achieve cheek volume, plumper hydrated lips and a well-defined jaw line. This “liquid face lift” can restore a youthful look without plastic surgery.
HIFU Face Lift : High intensity focussed ultrasound treatment is one of the most popular, safe, non invasive procedures for skin lifting and tightening. The device delivers high intensity ultrasound energy to the deeper layers of the skin causing collagen contraction and re-modelling.
Chemical Peels : A chemical peel, also known as chemexfoliation or dermapeeling, uses specialized solutions to cause a controlled exfoliation of the superficial, damaged layers of the skin, revealing underlying brighter and smoother skin. They are particularly valuable in treatment of acne, acne marks, scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, fine lines, skin re-surfacing, etc. Superficial or medium depth peels are chosen depending on the skin type and desired results. Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Lactic acid, TCA, Retinol peels are examples of commonly used peels.
